‎Jason Rich is my favorite Western art painter.‎‎ ‎‎Although I often use photographs as references when doing realism, it was one of Jason’s paintings that attracted me as a mosaic subject.‎‎ ‎‎He graciously gave me permission and sent me a wonderful message when he saw the mosaic I created.‎
